Garden Police Solution: Cleaning up the yard was the first step in the yard's transformation. As soon as we started, we knew we were going to need back up to have this yard up and running in two day. Enter the Green Team, led by landscaper Gabriel Rodriguez (Rodriguez Landscaping 818.892.7759 in Los Angeles).   If it wasn't for the  Green Team, and the heavy duty equipment they brought with them, Michael and I would still be there working!
 
We had to:
1. Remove the dead lawn and weeds
2. Remove three diseased European white birch trees- Betula alba.
3. Evict an ugly fountain near the front door decorated with FAKE plants. Out!!
4. Clean up the planters that were full of rocks and basketballs.
5. Rototill the dead lawn with a  Barreto "Heavy Duty Hydraulic-type Rototiller"
